The Junior Accountant is responsible for supporting the Accounting Team with financial reporting and analysis, inventory, budgeting and forecasting, month-end close, and other financial-related objectives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Reporting and Analysis: Create and distribute reports Helps Accounting Team with financial analysis Budgeting and Forecasting: Helps Accounting Team with annual budgets and forecasts Supports Accounting Team with monthly forecasts Collaborates with various departments to meet budget goals Inventory: Assists with physical inventories and cycle counts Reconciles differences with system reports and recommend corrective action Month End Close: Journal entries Reconciliations Pre-close analysis Other duties as assigned Required Skills and Abilities: Experience in SAP or other accounting software a plus Strong proficiency in MS Office (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, etc.) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail Problem-solving skills Must demonstrate professionalism Ability to maintain confidentiality EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE BA/BS degree in accounting or finance or expectations of receiving degree within 12 months Must have a 3.2 GPA or above (as it relates to college students applying) 1-3 years of relevant experience (internships included) What You'll Love About Us: Learning & Development : Tuition assistance is available along with an internal training budget.
