Assistant Facility Manager, Valet Operations

This is a key position within our organization, responsible for the day-to-day management of our valet operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service, while also maintaining a professional and courteous image.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in programs to improve client and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure guests are receiving timely and exceptional service by:
- Courteously assisting guests by answering any questions they may have;
- Assisting guests in and out of their vehicle;
- Driving, parking and retrieving guest vehicles in a safe and professional manner;
- Having a thorough knowledge of all areas of the valet operation, major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area.
- Create a staffing schedule according to the anticipated daily vehicle volume.
- Maintain full compliance to the standard operating procedures, while ensuring the safety and security of vehicles and keys at all times.
- Prepare and process daily paperwork according to audit compliance standards.
- Quickly distinguish vehicle make and models; have a general knowledge of vehicle operations.
- Ensure that drive lanes and crosswalks are clean of debris, water, oil spills, etc.
- Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
- Review damage claims.
- Assist with hiring, training, and coaching an excellent valet team.
- Substitute for any position, if necessary.
- Complete other duties as needed.
- High School Graduate.
- A minimum of six months of valet experience preferred.
- Availability to Work: Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs.
- License Requirement: Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with current address and acceptable driving record.
- Oral Communication: Speaks clearly; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions.
- Written Communication: Writes clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.
- Guest Service: Have a strong guest orientation and positive attitude. Able to responds to requests for service and assistance in a courteous and professional manner.
- Adaptability: Adapts to changes in the work environment; Able to deal with change, delays, or unexpected events.
- Judgment: Exhibits sound and accurate judgment.
