Job Overview:
As a Precision Grinding Operator I, you will be responsible for mastering the operation of various grinding machines, including ID, Jig, and OD grinders. Your primary duty will be to ensure the efficient functioning of these machines, promptly reporting any issues to management. Proficiency in reading and utilizing micrometers, c-micrometers, and bore gauges is essential. You will also learn to set up and calibrate parts on the machines, grinding them to the specifications outlined in the production documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and adhere to ACI procedures and shop work instructions.
- Verify part tolerances using precision measuring tools such as C-mics, Tri-mics, bore gauges, and calipers.
- Perform machine setups, ensuring parts are correctly positioned for grinding to meet specific tolerances.
- Maintain all assigned equipment in optimal condition.
- Follow the established priority list for time management in production.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Basic computer skills are necessary.
- Previous experience in machine grinding is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to interpret technical blueprints.

Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 3 months to 2 years of relevant experience in ACI or a related field is preferred.

- Ability to solve practical problems and address various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Capable of interpreting a variety of instructions presented in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
