Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist Opportunity

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Service Line. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our Cardiology patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Educate patients about their diagnoses, treatment options, and self-care strategies to improve their heart health.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to prioritize patient care and ensure seamless transitions between services.
  • Provide skilled triage and assessment, education, and coordination of healthcare resources to support patient needs.
  • Support the care team in providing patient care, including coordination of daily work and oversight of Medical Assistant clinical competency.
Requirements:
  • Current Washington State licensure as an RN
  • CPR certification
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Strong patient assessment skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Current working knowledge of electronic medical records
