Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team at Parkland Health Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-centered care in a healing environment, promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
  • Develop and implement individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family/caregiver.
  • Assess patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including their values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population-specific needs.
  • Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care across the continuum.
Requirements
  • Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree in Nursing
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri
  • Less than 2 years of experience in a medical surgical setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Experience in a medical surgical setting
