The primary duties and responsibilities of the Lead Educator include, but are not limited to:
Instructional Duties
- Design and execute both long-term and short-term educational activities aligned with curriculum goals and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Engage with children in a compassionate and respectful manner by:
- Establishing clear and simple rules
- Communicating with children effectively
- Modeling positive behavior
- Guiding children in correcting their misbehavior
- Encouraging a growth mindset regarding mistakes
- Teaching conflict resolution and the importance of apologies
- Recognizing and praising positive behavior
- Providing clear choices to children
- Maintain consistent and professional communication with parents.

- Mentor assistants to prepare them for leadership roles in your absence.
