Painter - Manufacturing Team

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our Manufacturing Team at Clean Harbors. As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for sanding, cleaning, and painting part washer units and fabricated components to meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sand and clean surfaces to prepare for painting
- Apply paint to part washer units and fabricated components
- Perform self-inspection of work to ensure quality
- Help in other areas as needed, including assembly, metal fabrication, and teardown of field returns
- Follow all safety protocols for paint disposal and solvent use
- Be responsible for the proper preparation of all surfaces to be sprayed
- Rework and repaint product as required to meet quality standards
- Paint small parts and non-standard fabricated materials
- Determine the correct color for each item being painted
- Adjust and check pump pressures, heater temperatures, air and fluid pressures to maintain optimal spraying conditions
- Check and maintain proper fluid and air pressure in pressure pots used for spraying
- Change filters and maintain the cleanliness of spray booth and spray guns
- Use equipment to move units into and out of the spray booth
- Cross-train and perform duties in other work areas of the manufacturing team
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Minimum of six (6) months of previous industrial painting experience
- Ability to meet all qualifications for wearing a respirator
- Ability to work well with minimal supervision
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Capacity to ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority
