About the Role

AECOM's Water Business Line is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Engineering Discipline Lead to join our team in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water/wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, collection systems, and conveyance design, as well as project management and client relationship experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership for specialty engineering services and manage projects from scoping to final closeout.
  • Collaborate with senior members of our Water Business Line team to seek new municipal business opportunities and work with clients to develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, oversee planning and design of various project elements, and prepare project reports, hydraulic models, calculations, drawings, construction plans, specifications, permitting packages, and documents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field and 8+ years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Preferred qualifications include PE license in the state of Kentucky or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire, experience working on municipal projects, and proficiency in ArcGIS, SWMM, Storm/Sewer/WaterCAD, ATF Fathom, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
