Harrison Consulting Solutions is a leading civil engineering firm with multiple locations, seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineering Professional to join our Louisville team.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Water Resources Engineer to lead and manage various projects, collaborate with clients, contractors, and local government officials, and oversee the design and management of water resources facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and local government officials to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Review and assist in the development of project scopes and proposals to meet client requirements.
  • Design and manage treatment, wastewater collection, and water system conveyance facilities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Prepare and secure grant applications and funding for small to medium-sized systems.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve wastewater treatment facilities and meet environmental standards.
  • Manage water, wastewater, and reclaimed water supply through planning, modeling, and permitting.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Civil Engineering, with a focus on water resources and/or environmental engineering.
  • PE License (Professional Engineer) certification.
  • Proven track record in designing and managing water resources projects, including experience with hydrologic, hydraulic, and groundwater software.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, XPSWMM, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, and WaterCAD.
  • Experience with HECRAS, HECHMS, PondPak, HY-8, and GeoPAK Drainage.
Salary Information:

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $85,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on experience. This figure takes into account the national average for senior civil engineering professionals in the United States.
