Position Requirements

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a law firm or professional office environment

• Previous experience in insurance defense litigation is advantageous

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in MS Office Suite and document management systems

• Familiarity with legal documents, docketing, and litigation processes is beneficial

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively, supporting the office and attorneys

• Capable of multitasking and effectively managing diverse demands on a daily basis

• Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong prioritization abilities

• Capacity to sit at a desk and utilize a computer for the duration of the shift

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming telephone calls and take messages as necessary

• Receive and process incoming court E-filings, saving them to the document management system and distributing to relevant teams

• Handle copy, scan, and print requests

• Process vendor invoices and check requests

• Maintain calendars and implement organizational tools to ensure deadlines are met

• Assist attorneys with email and correspondence; draft letters and documents

• Maintain updated case lists

• Open new client matters

• Organize documents and manage electronic case files

• Respond promptly to all inquiries and communications

• Provide general administrative and clerical support as directed

• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
