KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Site Manager during field assignments.
  • Demonstrate leadership by managing and guiding on-site personnel, fostering a positive work atmosphere that encourages professional development and training.
  • Interpret and analyze plans, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure project execution aligns with Contract Documents.
  • Possess a working knowledge of AIA Contract Documents, contract law, and subcontract agreements.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and engage with all stakeholders involved in the project.
  • Coordinate and oversee the operations of a job site office efficiently.
  • Utilize technology and software applications to enhance job performance.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of various construction trades, including surveying and engineering methodologies.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of cost accounting systems and company policies.
  • Commit to maintaining safety and cleanliness standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate the ability to create, adjust, and uphold project schedules.
  • Show proficiency in estimating, contracting, cost reporting, project accounting, documentation processes, quality assurance, safety protocols, scheduling, field applications, and project closure.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in field construction.
  • Familiarity with construction terminology, general contracts, and subcontracting processes.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and amend construction plans and specifications in relation to the general contract.
  • Proven capability to lead and manage assigned teams effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with owners, design teams, site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ability to organize resources efficiently to meet project deadlines and achieve objectives.
  • Competence in using construction management software, including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, Procore, and other relevant project management tools.
