Job Summary

Denver Health is seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Advice Line Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and advice via telephone triage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze patient health data to identify relevant needs and develop a working diagnosis.
  • Provide age-appropriate triage and treatment dispositions to patients from newborn to adult, including OB and Worker's Compensation Injury Reporting.
  • Utilize computer software and associated programs to triage and send reports to appropriate agencies or clinics.
  • Exercise initiative and judgment in selecting proper treatment and care advice.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
  • 2 years of recent nursing experience required.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association required.
  • RN-Registered Nurse - DORA - Department of Regulatory Agencies required.
