Acts Retirement-Life Communities is currently on the lookout for qualified individuals to fill the role of Advanced Practice Nurse within our growing Primary Care Services and Nurse Practitioner Program.

In this position, you will deliver care across various settings, including independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities.

This is a remarkable opportunity to establish and oversee an outpatient Primary Care Practice on-site, while also attending to the healthcare needs of our assisted living and skilled nursing residents.

You will be responsible for planning and directing all activities within the resident care clinical area, which encompasses, but is not limited to, staff management, daily operations of the practice, COVID-19 related responsibilities, addressing residents' healthcare requirements in accordance with State and Federal regulations, staying informed about the long-term care sector and geriatrics through ongoing education, and serving as a clinical mentor for Nurse Practitioner students.


Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Master's degree in Advanced Nursing, preferably with a focus on geriatrics.

Must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner license with prescriptive authority in the relevant state.

A minimum of five years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or relevant nursing experience, particularly in senior care settings (CCRC, skilled care, and/or assisted living) is preferred.
