Your Role:
The Practical Nursing Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering nursing care services and health education to our residents. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the care provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and other team members.
- Administering safe and precise medication interventions.
- Assessing residents' health and communicating any changes to the physician.
- Implementing new medical orders promptly.
- Selecting and executing appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize conditions and prevent complications.
- Contributing to resident assessments and care plan development.
Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates with:
- 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care environment (preferred).
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure.
- CPR certification.
