As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide safe and effective nursing care utilizing the Nursing Process while adhering to relevant regulations and facility policies.
Primary Duties:
- Demonstrate adaptability in practicing nursing across various units within the facility, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized environment.
- Support the objectives of the Nursing Department and participate in committees as needed.
- Assess and report significant symptoms, reactions, and changes in residents' conditions.
- Document relevant information accurately to ensure seamless communication among healthcare services.
Nursing Functions Include:
- Administering medications and treatments
- Assisting with activities of daily living
- Implementing rehabilitative techniques to promote resident independence
- Adhering to standard precautions
- Providing end-of-life care
- Participating in and monitoring care programs
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver quality care and document resident goals.
- Fostering a cooperative team environment among staff and peers.
- Upholding resident and staff confidentiality in compliance with regulations.
- Engaging in professional development programs and pursuing further education for career advancement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Current LPN license
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply for full-time roles.
- Per Diem positions require a minimum of one year of experience in acute or long-term care settings.
