About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at Salem Hospital in Peabody, Massachusetts. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dedicated healthcare team and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for managing all aspects of the nursing process and delivering patient-centered care. This includes assessing patients' needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and efficient services.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identifying potential health risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines, research findings, and best practices in nursing care.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A valid current license to practice as a RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Med/Surg nursing, preferably with experience in telemetry units.
  • A graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing (BSN or MSN).
  • Current BLS certification and ACLS preferred.
