Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Materials Project Technician to join our team at Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing inspections and sampling services on construction projects, ensuring the quality of materials and construction processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and test concrete, soil, and other site materials to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Monitor general contractor activities, including onsite testing and reporting of earthwork and soil construction, foundation/subgrade evaluation, reinforcing steel, concrete placements, and masonry.
  • Prepare daily reports for submission to project engineers, including test results and detailed construction site observations.
  • Collaborate with site managers and engineers to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of construction materials and processes.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education (GED)
  • Valid Driver's License with Clean Motor Vehicle Driving history (3 years)
  • Ability to work outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions for extended periods.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while completing scheduled tasks.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic knowledge of smartphones and computers for communication and record keeping.

  • ICC certification (Soils Inspector, Reinforced Concrete, Masonry Special Inspector)
