Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced commercial Excess & Surplus Broker to join our team at Novatae Risk Group. As a Wholesale Broker, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of submissions, presenting accounts to insurance carriers, and marketing new and renewal business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit applications and supporting documents to insurance carriers.
  • Presentation of accounts to insurance carriers and proactive pursuit of compelling programs.
  • Market new and renewal business in conjunction with designated sales teams.
  • Analyze current programs and collect necessary information.
  • Order underwriting reports as needed and ensure timely quote provision.
  • Solicit new business through sales and marketing techniques and establish relationships.
  • Coordinate administrative workflows with support teams to ensure accurate and prompt response to service issues.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and cultivate new markets.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in property and casualty insurance, including coverages, rating, terminology, and technical procedures.
  • P&C license / E&S licenses.
  • Sales-driven individual with excellent communication skills and ability to establish new relationships.
  • Four-year college degree preferred, with 1-3 years of relative experience in Wholesale Broker or MGA.
