Job Description Summary

As a GE Aviation intern/co-op in Supply Chain and Manufacturing, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative solutions that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency. You will work closely with experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience in supply chain management, manufacturing operations, and lean six sigma principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of supply chain strategies to meet business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and reduce costs
  • Apply lean six sigma principles to drive process improvements and eliminate waste
  • Contribute to the analysis and resolution of supply chain and manufacturing-related issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in a relevant field (e.g. supply chain management, operations management, industrial engineering)
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in supply chain management, manufacturing operations, or a related field
  • Knowledge of lean six sigma principles and tools
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Fluency in a second language
