Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Interventional Radiology Liaison Specialist to join our team at Methodist Hospitals. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will play a critical role in scheduling Interventional Radiology cases, coordinating services with other departments, and ensuring seamless communication with patients, hospital personnel, and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule patients for procedures and facilitate coordination with ancillary areas, including anesthesia and pathology when required.
  • Confirm scheduled appointments with patients and provide instructions.
  • Communicate schedule updates and changes to relevant individuals.
  • Maintain awareness of physician privileges and confirm privileges before scheduling cases.
  • Verify insurance and authorization status for outpatients.
  • Schedule Interventional Radiology cases through multiple physician offices.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 2 years of experience in Radiology/Medical with customer service preferred.
  • CPR certification required.
