About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Services Manager to join our team at The Laurels of Walden Park. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, preparation, and service of nutritious meals to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our guests, while ensuring that meals are prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Supply Chain Management: Oversee the purchase of food and supplies within budget, ensuring that we have adequate stock to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Staff Supervision: Provide technical guidance and administrative direction to our dietary staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Guest Interaction: Interview guests and family members to obtain diet history, and provide timely and accurate completion of dietary portions of the clinical record.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in regularly scheduled conferences, including department head meetings and interdisciplinary care plan meetings, to ensure that our dietary services meet the highest standards of quality and care.
Requirements
  • Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Serve Safe certification.
  • One (1) to two (2) years management/supervisory experience preferred.
