Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate risks and the effectiveness of compliance and operational risk controls to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations, while addressing regulatory inquiries and audits.
  • Provide independent oversight of compliance and operational risk management, ensuring alignment with established policies and procedures.

The Risk and Compliance Operations Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing compliance and operational risk for Front Line Units or Control Functions. This position requires proactive risk identification and management, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and internal policies.

As part of a dedicated team, the manager collaborates with other compliance officers to provide comprehensive oversight and prepares for regulatory examinations. This role also involves developing risk coverage plans and monitoring compliance metrics to ensure effective risk management.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Risk Management, particularly in compliance and operational risk.
  • Strong understanding of governance practices and issue management.
  • Ability to critically assess and challenge compliance processes.
  • Experience in Trade Surveillance is highly desirable.
