The Olympic Region Clean Air Agency is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a key member of the facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the agency's office building, ensuring a safe and productive environment for staff and tenants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs of the office building, including plumbing, carpentry, and other tasks as needed.
  • Maintain sidewalks, entrances, and stairways to ensure a safe and accessible environment.
  • Assist with tenant turn-over and ensure the building is ready for new occupants.
  • Perform regular inspections of the building's interior and exterior to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
  • Document and communicate the need for preventative maintenance to prolong the service life of the building and its equipment.
  • Maintain records related to preventive maintenance and inventory supplies.
  • Report any damages, breakage, or needed maintenance to the facilities team.
  • Maintain compliance with American Disability Act (ADA) requirements with handicap parking, ramps, and other access issues.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in building maintenance and repair.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and other building systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
