Qualifications:
Experience with diesel and propane vehicles as well as air brake systems.

Familiarity with engine and chassis diagnostic software.

Commitment to safe work practices and high-quality execution of tasks with minimal supervision.

Accurate documentation of all maintenance activities on company records.

Experience with vehicle maintenance tracking software, work orders, and inventory management.

Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) and compliance with US DOT regulations for commercial vehicles.

Ability to perform assigned tasks independently.

Capability to lift parts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Possession of a personal toolset.

Ability to meet Department of Transportation (DOT) driver qualification policy requirements.

CDL preferred; ability to obtain within six (6) months of starting the position.

Responsibilities:


The Vehicle Maintenance Technician role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of fleet vehicles and equipment as assigned.

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all fleet vehicles at designated Primo Water North America locations.

Document all phases of vehicle maintenance and repair, including diagnostics.

Communicate effectively with drivers and management regarding vehicle maintenance and service needs.

Maintain a comprehensive history file for each vehicle.
