Senior Financial Analyst Position

We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Ledgent Finance & Accounting. In this role, you will be responsible for reconciling accounts including receivable and payable, assisting the CFO in various tasks, and supporting the preparation of monthly financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts including receivable and payable to ensure accuracy and ensure that all transactions are properly recorded.
  • CFO Support: Assist the Chief Financial Officer in various tasks, including budget preparation and maintenance, and provide financial analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Audit Support: Aid in audit-related activities, including preparing and reviewing financial statements and schedules.
  • Budgeting: Assist with budget preparation and maintenance, including analyzing financial data and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and ensure that all transactions are properly recorded.
  • Accounts Payable: Handle accounts payable tasks, including processing, filing, and supplier management.
  • Fixed Assets: Maintain and reconcile Fixed Assets records.
  • Problem-Solving: Problem-solving, investigating, and resolving issues related to budgets, expenditures, funds, and procurement practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Accounting Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of accounting processes and procedures.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen to build trust and credibility at all organizational levels.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and financial-related software, including pivot tables, V lookups, and QuickBooks Online.
  • Teamwork: Expertise in teamwork and collaboration with experience in team/project-oriented activities.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
  • Financial Analysis: Ability to effectively communicate cost and financial information across the organization.
  • Professional Growth: Willingness and interest in professional growth and development.
  • Accounting Certification: Professional Qualification in Accounting or related field

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is $30 to $33 per hour, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
