Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Seasonal Maintenance Technician to join our team at Adelbrook Inc. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that requires a strong background in maintenance and repair.

The ideal candidate will possess 6 years of experience or specialized knowledge in three or more areas, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, heating and air-conditioning, welding, auto mechanics, and small engine repair.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain all agency property and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness within the Maintenance Department and offices.
  • Perform lawn care, shrub planting and care, snow removal, furniture repair, painting, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Review maintenance orders and provide services on those work orders for which qualified to perform.
  • Check for broken locks, bulbs in need of replacement, damage in need of repair, etc...
  • On-call duties may be requested.
  • Supervise part-time and temporary maintenance staff, including youth in residence assigned for work experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or Technical School required and two years of experience in a comparable position or trade necessary to successfully fulfill skill requirements.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and be able to lift, bend, climb ladders, reach, stoop, and kneel in the performance of duties and responsibilities.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license and insurance through the agency's insurance carrier.
