About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, with a proven track record of success in talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development. They will be a strategic thinker, able to analyze complex HR issues and develop effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the city's vision and goals
  • Lead and manage the HR team to ensure effective delivery of HR services
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement organizational development initiatives
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Manage employee relations and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, plus at least 10 years of experience in human resources, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. They will also have a strong background in talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development.

A SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SCP), Senior Professional Human Resources Certification (SPHR) or equivalent is preferred.
