Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison to identify and address business needs and challenges through process improvements and technical solutions across various units.
- Analyze, comprehend, and document business workflows.
- Gather requirements from primary business contacts, ensuring that documented needs align with business objectives while considering all downstream effects.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive business requirements and functional specifications documentation.
- Assess how new requirements integrate with existing products, ensuring uniformity throughout.
- Convert requirements into testing conditions and expected outcomes for product, performance, and user acceptance testing. Conduct quality assurance reviews prior to delivery.
- Participate in the change management process, effectively communicating necessary changes to development teams.
- Deliver project requirements and meet service levels within a deadline-oriented environment.
- Exhibit analytical and organizational capabilities by documenting complex information structures involving multiple data layers and workflows.
- Tailor communication style to diverse audiences, utilizing tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, and other relevant resources.
- Review test outcomes, identify and track issues using appropriate tools, and collaborate with respective teams for resolution.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Business Analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Product Management for SaaS or other client-facing products.
- Background in the legal sector, either within a law firm or in developing legal software solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience in a professional services or startup environment, understanding the culture of a law firm while thriving in a unique team setting.
