Job Title: IT Business Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team at 1872 Consulting. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business needs and developing solutions to improve business processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand and prioritize their needs.
  • Conduct analysis of business and user needs, document requirements, and translate into functional system requirements.
  • Perform market data, technical, and technology option analysis and recommendations.
  • Create relevant documentation, including user stories, wireframes, and process flow documents.
  • Interface with stakeholders to ensure alignment for the design of systems before and during development.
  • Evaluate, research, and recommend technology solutions/processes to improve business decision-making.
  • Work with business functional specialists and technical development teams to formulate functional requirements and specifications.
  • Coordinate with Application Development team members, vendors, and Project Managers to review proposed solutions and designs.
  • Stay abreast of best practices being done at other firms and technology developments that may impact the area.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or performing similar functions.
  • Experience working on projects related to HR Technology, such as HRIS, HCM, ATS, LMS, etc.
  • Experience working with vendors such as PeopleSoft, Workday, SuccessFactors, iCims, etc.
  • Advanced Excel experience.
