Soliant is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as a School-Based SLP in Galveston, TX.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate students' communication skills and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Develop and Implement IEPs: Create and implement Individualized Education Programs to support students' communication needs.
- Collaborate with School Staff: Work with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
- Provide Therapy Sessions: Deliver speech and language therapy in individual and group settings.
- Document Services Provided: Maintain accurate and timely records of services delivered.
- Participate in IEP Meetings: Contribute to the development of student educational goals and participate in IEP meetings.
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Hold a degree from an accredited program.
- Valid State Licensure: Possess valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP): Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, preferred but not required for Clinical Fellows.
- Prior Experience in a School Setting: Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong Communication and Organizational Skills: Possess strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
