Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you'll perform skilled maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other physical structures. Responsibilities include making repairs to tools and equipment, maintaining and installing electrical systems and fixtures, and measuring, cutting, bonding, threading, assembling, and installing electrical conduit.

Familiarity with 12-volt, 24-volt, 120-volt, 240-volt, 277-volt, and 480-volt electrical systems is preferred.

Shift and Training

This is a 2nd Shift position (Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM). You may train on 1st shift for up to 3 weeks.

Education and Experience

A High School Diploma or GED is preferred. 1-2 years of experience is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Functions

Disassemble machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools. Assemble and install new machinery as needed.

Diagnose mechanical problems and determine repair methods, utilizing blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.

Repair machines, equipment, or structures using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, and precision measuring instruments or electrical/electronic testing devices.

Qualifications

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are required. Knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to work with various voltage levels are also necessary.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation, proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively, and strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship are essential.
