Transforming Spaceflight with Robotic Welding Expertise

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Robotic Welder III, Tanks, you'll play a critical role in manufacturing and assembling large-scale hardware for our spaceflight systems. Your expertise in robotic welding will help us achieve our vision of a future where millions of people live and work in space for the benefit of Earth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain robotic weld systems to ensure high-quality welds and efficient production processes.
  • Perform manual blend operations and precision drilling to assemble complex hardware components.
  • Set up and operate various material handling equipment, including forklifts, overhead cranes, and aerial lifts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new production processes and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; industry certification or trade school training a plus.
  • Experience in manufacturing, integration, or a related field; knowledge of robotic welding and material handling equipment a must.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to work in a confined space for extended periods and lift heavy items (over 50lbs).
  • U.S. citizenship or national status required.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with multi-axis robotic systems and sheet metal fabrication.
  • Knowledge of precision drilling applications and assembling tight tolerance structures.
  • Industry certification, trade school training, or degree in a related field.
  • Military experience or aerospace industry background a plus.
