Position Overview:

We are seeking a Program Manager to enhance our support for government clients. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective execution of various technical and programmatic tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical assistance and organize conferences, demonstrations, exhibitions, events, meetings, and technical reviews.
  • Maintain and prepare briefings, while assisting in the coordination of inputs for data requests, including budget submissions and congressional inquiries.
  • Facilitate technical evaluation reviews and liaise with senior officials across various departments, services/agencies, government laboratories, academia, and industry.
  • Contribute to special studies and technology advisory panels as needed.
  • Assist in the development and upkeep of critical documents and master plans that encompass all relevant studies and analyses.
  • Oversee technical management of programs, including acquisition plan formulation, representation of the government project manager, and performance assessment against technical objectives, costs, and schedules.
  • Support program management and execution by updating Task Planning Sheets, Mission Model Canvas sheets, quad sheets, Fact Sheets, and drafting portfolio review presentations.
  • Help develop databases for tracking technical and programmatic deliverables and milestones.
  • Prepare program status reports and after-action reports following significant program reviews or key events.

Education Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in engineering, mathematics, or science, including fields such as biology, chemistry, computer science, and physics.
  • Recent experience (within the last 5 years) in federal acquisition and budgeting.
  • Proven experience in Science & Technology program management.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing technical programs with budgets exceeding $1M.
  • Expertise in planning methodologies for analyzing research programs and developing databases for tracking key deliverables and milestones.
  • Experience in creating analytical models, procedures, and techniques.
  • Background in executing and reviewing technical studies, analyses, and designs.
  • Familiarity with DOD RDT&E program/budget exhibits and strategic plans.
  • Experience collaborating with senior government personnel, including OPNAV, SYSCOM, Warfare Centers, Secretariat, or OSD.
  • Experience supporting senior Navy S&T leadership or programs on complex tasks.
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: (1) Naval/Marine Corps Naval Engineering, (2) Naval/Marine Corps Power and Energy, (3) Naval/Marine Corps Materials, (4) Naval/Marine Corps Undersea Systems, and (5) Naval/Marine Corps Manufacturing.
