Solar IRA Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar IRA Compliance Specialist to join our team at RES. As a key member of our Compliance Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of IRA projects in the Solar business division.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the single point of contact for Solar IRA projects, coordinating with team members from Legal, Payroll, Apprenticeship, Compliance, and others to ensure effective communication and resolution of challenges.
- Coordinate with site teams to ensure proper subcontractor management and monitor subcontractor certified payroll submissions and apprentice percentage based on their contract.
- Function as the primary contact for management, project teams, subcontractors, and workforce agencies for IRA apprenticeship and certified payroll questions.
- Create reports and deliver updates to management on a regular basis, serving as a liaison and providing program recommendations to the solar management team to drive successful compliance within the construction solar business.
- Coordinate with Solar Operations team and workforce planning team to ensure that up to 20% of RES craft register/enroll in apprenticeship programs.
- Ensure that solar projects remain IRA compliant through collaboration with both the project and apprenticeship teams, managing internal audits and reporting on a per-project basis.
- Support delivery of documents with clients and compliance requests, attending project-specific meetings and communicating out to Solar Leadership as appropriate.
- Assist other IRA Compliance Team members in problem resolution as necessary, staying up to date on industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Support multiple project teams through the IRA compliance process, presenting, supporting, and leading by example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
- Engage in continuous improvement opportunities and evaluate/implement ways to better communication and company employee retainage, ensuring growth and development with RES and its core values.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or equivalent degree, or military/education/relevant work experience combination required.
- 3+ years' experience in a Compliance Programs required.
- Domestic Travel of 16%-30%; valid Driver's License required.
- Anticipated base salary range: $75,000 - $100,000
- The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.
