Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse Position

As a Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care
- Assist with anesthesia induction and prepare patients for local anesthesia
- Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment
- Document and report patient care accurately
- Participate in staff and self-development
- 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse in a hospital setting
- 1 year of experience as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse preferred
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required as per St. David's Healthcare policy
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification per SDH policy
