About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiography (x-ray) exams on patients, ensuring compliance with all radiation safety procedures.
  • Prepare patients for exams, obtain and record vital signs, explain procedures, and position patients for optimal imaging.
  • Operate radiology equipment, ensuring technical quality of images and maintaining equipment in good working order.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to process enhancements.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
  • Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).
