Responsibilities:- Administer medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner.
- Review and document medication administration records.
- Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse to ensure accurate medication administration.
- Conduct Service and Health Updates as directed by the Resident Care Director.
- Participate in the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and monthly updates.
- Transcribe orders and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and British Columbia Workers Compensation Act regulations.
- Practice safety procedures at all times, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and fire extinguishers.
- LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents.
- Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
