The TKO Program at Jacobs is seeking a highly skilled Linux System Administrator to support the Cybersecurity Intelligence Team (CIT) TTO. This position is part of an operations support team responsible for dataflow implementation, including transitions from legacy to modern systems and monitoring of implemented data flows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and integrate Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
  • Provision and manage cloud services (AWS, Azure)
  • Monitor and maintain systems, including service upgrades and security patching
  • Troubleshoot services (Tier 1-2 level)
  • Support configuration management, familiarity with Puppet/SIMP, Ansible, Salt, Chef
  • Develop, deploy, and upgrade RPMs
  • Familiarity with configuration and workflow tools such as GitLab, Jira

What You'll Need:

  • Perform systems engineering activities and assist in the preparation of work products in Technical Process Areas associated with the ISO/IEC 15288
  • Perform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations
  • Develop and deliver work products in any of the ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas
  • Independently analyze and recommend alternatives for elements of project's technical design

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or PhD in Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management, or a related discipline
  • Six (6) years of systems engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree
  • Four (4) years of systems engineering experience with a Master's degree or PhD
  • Ten (10) years of general system engineering experience with a High School Diploma or GED
