Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at The MasTec Companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and pay invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Verify and reconcile vendor statements and invoices
  • Manage and maintain vendor relationships
  • Ensure compliance with SOX guidelines and internal approval matrix
  • Perform various other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Proven experience in accounts payable or similar accounting role
  • Familiarity with SOX guidelines and compliance
  • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Viewpoint
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
