This position is for the Core Laboratory & Blood Bank, where you will work alongside passionate and dedicated caregivers. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to all departments in the Core Lab and Blood Bank, and you will be part of a team that is known for their strong teamwork and support from one another.

Responsibilities
  • Perform and interpret tests at all complexity levels.
  • Correlate abnormal laboratory data with pathological states.
  • Determine the validity of test results and the need for additional tests through monitoring and/or verifying quality controls, standards, etc.
  • Communicate test results, reference ranges, specimen requirements and other pertinent information to authorized sources.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from a four-year college or university.
  • Meets the CLIA qualifications for high complexity testing personnel grandfathering clauses.
  • Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or certification eligible preferred, from the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT).
