  • Collaborate with the Cleaning Services team to uphold a hygienic environment.
  • Adhere to all relevant legislation regarding food safety and hygiene.
  • Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and report any safety concerns to the Supervisor.
  • Serve meals to clients, staff, and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Follow departmental cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are kept tidy and sanitary.
  • Engage in basic food preparation tasks as required.
  • Transport goods to and from the catering department efficiently.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment, ensuring it is cleaned and functioning properly.
  • Perform general duties including handling of supplies and managing food trolleys.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Site Supervisor.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding clients and their visitors.
  • Complete minor record-keeping tasks as directed by the Supervisor.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse service users in a secure environment.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is preferred, though training can be provided.
