Job Summary:

Bear Mountain Healthcare is seeking a skilled Physiatrist to join our team at West Roxbury Health and Rehabilitation Center. As a Physiatrist, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing physical therapy services in accordance with current federal and state standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients' conditions and devise customized rehabilitation and treatment plans.
  • Develop, maintain, and restore maximum movement and functional ability to maximize quality of life.
  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct physical therapy services and programs.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and other team members regarding PT programs.
  • Initiate referrals when appropriate and in accordance with Physical Therapy Department procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
