Job Description

About the Role

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing large-scale distributed systems for our cloud-based services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop cloud-scale systems with high availability, scalability, and security
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into technical specifications
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and guides for cloud infrastructure development
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 3-5+ years of experience building and operating large-scale, highly available, cloud-based distributed systems
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and software development principles
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, C, C++, C#, Go, or Python
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or equivalent
