Primary Responsibilities:
Your role will involve overseeing the back of house team, which includes:
1. Hiring, training, and developing employees.
2. Managing restaurant operations including opening and closing procedures.
3. Creating staff schedules and preparing labor budgets.
4. Handling cash management and ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
5. Maintaining the high standards of food quality and service that we are known for.
Effective communication with staff, management, and corporate is essential. You will need to check emails regularly, provide direction, and ensure information flows smoothly throughout the team.
Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the restaurant is a priority, along with enforcing brand standards consistently. You will also be responsible for:
1. Upholding cleaning and maintenance standards.
2. Preparing fresh food and excelling in kitchen operations.
3. Efficiently managing the expo window.
Physical Requirements:
You must be able to:
1. Stand and move for the majority of your shift (up to 12 hours).
2. Work weekends and holidays (up to 50 hours per week).
3. Lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
4. Arrive at work in various weather conditions.
5. Operate kitchen equipment such as grills and dishwashers.
6. Communicate effectively in the primary language of our guests and staff.
