Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Market Director to join our team at Thrivent Financial. As a Market Director, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in your assigned market, while also leading and developing a team of Financial Professionals (FPs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a business plan to drive growth and development in your assigned market
  • Lead and develop a team of FPs, providing coaching, training, and support to help them achieve their goals
  • Recruit and select high-quality FP talent, ensuring a diverse and talented team
  • Collaborate with other Thrivent teams to drive business growth and development
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including FPs, leaders, and centers of influence
Requirements
  • Proven track record of sales success and leadership experience
  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop and execute business plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • FINRA Series 7, 63/65 or 66 registration, and state insurance licenses and appointments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Professional designation or history of significant progress toward achievement
