Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team at Diversified Supply Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Associate, your duties will include:

  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the sales process from order initiation to billing and delivery.
  • Coordinating the receipt and dispatch of materials.
  • Ensuring that all outgoing orders are accompanied by the necessary documentation and are verified for accuracy.
  • Keeping informed about all products offered and the markets served by the company.
  • Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery as required.
  • Inputting inventory data into the sub-ledger computer system.
  • Engaging with customers, fulfilling orders, and restocking shelves.
  • Collaborating with the department manager to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Working a standard schedule of five 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime.
  • Delivering materials to customer locations as needed.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Prior experience in logistics, warehousing, or a related field.
  • Experience as a material handler.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
  • A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience operating forklifts.
  • The ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
  • A clean driving record.
