X-Ray Technician Job Description

CareerStaff Unlimited is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician to join our team at a prestigious facility in Pleasanton, CA. As an X-Ray Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with positioning on the procedure table and use the fluoroscope as directed by the doctor.
  • Help patients off the table, clean the table, print x-rays, and document radiation exposure.
  • Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, and adhere to established HIPPA confidentiality standards.
  • Project a positive and professional image at all times, and adhere to client facility's dress code.
Requirements:
  • Certification with the Liaison Council for Surgical Technician, preferred.
  • Graduate of an approved medically based and/or certified program in Surgical Technology.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Successful completion of an approved Surgical Technology program.
