About the X-Ray Technician Position

CareerStaff Unlimited is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician to join our team at a prestigious facility in Pleasanton, CA. As an X-Ray Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with positioning on the procedure table and ensure their comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
  • Operate the fluoroscope and other medical equipment as directed by the doctor to produce high-quality images.
  • Assist patients off the table and clean the table after each use to maintain a sterile environment.
  • Print and document x-rays, ensuring accurate and timely completion of patient records.
  • Monitor and maintain radiation exposure levels to ensure patient safety.
Requirements
  • Certification with the Liaison Council for Surgical Technician, preferred
  • Graduate of an approved medically based and/or certified program in Surgical Technology
  • Current BLS certification
  • Successful completion of an approved Surgical Technology program
