About the Role

Cask Store, a boutique spirits, wine, and beer retailer, is seeking a friendly and sales-driven individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate - Spirits and Wine Specialist. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales of our premium spirits, wine, and beer products.

Responsibilities
  • Provide courteous and engaging floor sales of spirits, wine, and beer to customers
  • Resolve customer service-related issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Apply your knowledge to assist customers in product selection, ensuring they find the perfect spirits, wine, or beer to suit their needs
  • Assist with stockroom responsibilities, including product tagging, organization, and general cleaning
Qualifications
  • Experience in the beverage or hospitality industry is highly desired
  • An interest in spirits and some product knowledge is required
  • Demonstrate an ability to interact well with customers, stay positive, and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with basic IT, including Microsoft Word, and the ability to learn new programs quickly (point of sale)
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
