Electrical Systems Assembly Technician

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts. As an Electrical Systems Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and testing electrical and mechanical systems in our manufacturing facility. Key duties include mechanical assembly of subassemblies using small hand and/or power tools, final assembly of systems and accessories, and testing and troubleshooting of subassemblies and final assemblies.
Collaboration with other Production Technicians and Engineering is essential to correct and improve documentation related to the assembly process. The role involves working with manufacturing engineers to enhance assembly efficiency, product quality, and reduce manufacturing costs. The technician is also responsible for ensuring that work order protocols are followed and that work order paperwork is completed as the work is performed.
Additional responsibilities may include training other technicians, conducting in-process quality checks, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and working on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative.
